Holiday Destinations in Kuala Lumpur
Hi, here I wanna share a little bit about interesting places
to go in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (based on my own trips, though). This city,
admittedly, has many wonderful buildings to visit that I’d like to tell you
some – since I honestly haven’t go to any natural tourisms yet there so I won’t
tell about those one XD

If you are a budget-traveller, it's really important to understand well about the MRT or LRT line since you will travel a lot by this public transport system. So, here I'd like to tell about the worth-to-visit places along Kelana Jaya Line from KL Sentral. If you’re coming from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport, you can go ahead by bus (which costs about RM10.00 one way and 1 hour 15 minutes length of journey) or KLIA Ekspres / Transit (more expensive one, RM55.00 and only takes about 35 minutes per trip) and stop at KL Sentral then continue the trip by using LRT Kelana Jaya Line.
Let’s start to talk about the common one, the most popular and well-known iconic building, Kuala Lumpur City Center or often called as Suria KLCC. It’s a place where Petronas Twin Tower located as well, and as a shopping center, it provides you any kinds of branded stuff. I am sure that you who like a window shopping would really enjoy going here. For you who intentionally come here at 11 pm or above, I’ll highly recommend you to prepare a hat, umbrella, or every such thing because it will be bitterly hot here. After that, don’t forget to see a water fountain show at about 7 pm. Anyway, it’s really easy to go here even though it’s not right in the middle of the city. From KL Sentral you can directly use LRT towards KLCC. The KLCC station right opposite the Suria KLCC, so you just need to walk a bit to reach the Petronas. You can always check the fares through LRT website .

Since you are in Suria KLCC, it will be better for you to go to Gombak through the same station and line towards Ampang Park. Gombak provides you a stunning landscape of Batu Caves. Here you can find Indian culture around the site. There also some people who offer you to make henna on your hand and it's obviously artistic. I have no good picture here because the site was under the maintenance :(

I'll let you know that Gombak is the
district of International Islamic University Malaysia, an immense international
university in Malaysia. Here is on of my picture in front of its office site.

Another place is Dataran Merdeka.
Here you can visit some buildings surrounding the site. First of all is Kuala
Lumpur City Gallery. It's not big enough but it provides you knowledge about
Kuala Lumpur as a city. There are many arts and miniatures describing part of
Kuala Lumpur. Secondly is Sultan Abdul Samad Building, which full of historical
and classical theme. It will be really nice to take pictures here. Me myself,
unfortunately, came in the bad time when the building was under construction. But, there was nothing to lose because this site is cost free for everyone. Don't forget to try the most delicious one Durian Ice Cream, you can buy it right before the entrance to the museum :)

After visiting all the sites, and you want to go back to the airport, don't forget to visit Pasar Seni or Central Market to buy any souvenirs. The prices here are competitive enough and you can find anything starts from chocolates till the key chains or miniatures. Because it seems like a market don't hesitate to do some bargains HAHA , moreover if you're buying many things. And close to this place, you can find Chinatown :) It can be reached through the same line, Kelana Jaya, right after Masjid Jamek Station, so actually you can visit Masjid Jamek too if you're on this line.

It's less than enough, though, but yeah I really love to tell you this few things :) and here is the LRT Map of Kuala Lumpur and will be definitely easier for you to know this map before going there :D

Entah mengapa setiap lihat dataran merdeka inget lapangan di masjid bandung wkwkk.. ah KL yg paling dirindukan itu makan nasi mandinya wkwk
