IKEA Indonesia, How to Go from Jakarta ?
Hello guys,
I would like to share my experience going to IKEA Alam Sutera using public transportation from Jakarta, precisely Cawang, South Jakarta. Generally speaking, it was not that hard as I imagined before, but yes it did take a bit longer time than using an online taxi or other modes you may call as ojol (ojek online). But first, let me thank Trafi and Transjakarta that made everything run even smoother 😁
IKEA Alam Sutera located at Jl. Jalur Sutera Boulevard No. Kav. 45, Kunciran, Pinang, Kota Tangerang, Banten 15320 and open daily from 10 AM to 10 PM.
You only need to change your bus once and use an online taxi or walk to IKEA Alam Sutera, because the bus stops nearby !
Trafi helped me to find the nearest bus stop and which bus I needed to ride for. Everyone who wants to go there from Cawang as I did, you need to find Transjakarta number 9 or 9A towards Pluit or Grogol, then stop at Senayan JCC to change your bus. Here you need to wait for Transjakarta number T11 that operate from Bundaran Senayan to Palem Semi or Polis Plawad Terminal. From this bus, you need to stop at Rest Area KM 13.5. For using Transjakarta, you need to pay IDR 3.500,- at all. Then pay Go-Jek for about IDR 7.000,- or Go-Car for about IDR 11.000,- or perhaps you wanna walk for about 3 KM 😆
It is really cheap for you to go there using public transportation, moreover if you only want to do a window shopping without buying anything. But, I don't recommend it to back home for you who buy many things from IKEA haha
Basically, wherever you are at Jakarta, you only have to find Transjakarta number T11 and stop at Rest Area KM 13.5. Here I attach the route of T11 for you and find the nearest bus stop around you 😘
